1. About BlackFridayFont
BlackFridayFont is an independent type foundry operated by Thomas Boucherie — FMF, based in Rodrigues Island, Mauritius (TAN: 27360003). We design and distribute digital typefaces for personal and commercial use.
2. Use of the Website
- You may browse, preview, and purchase fonts for lawful purposes only.
- You may not use the site or its content to infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, conduct scraping, or engage in any fraudulent activity.
- Automated access (bots, crawlers) for commercial data collection is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
3. Font Licenses
The purchase of a font does not transfer ownership of the typeface design or font software. You are acquiring a limited, non-exclusive license to use the font within the scope defined in our End User License Agreement (EULA).
4. Intellectual Property
All typeface designs, font files, website content, images, and branding elements are the exclusive intellectual property of BlackFridayFont / Thomas Boucherie, or their respective creators, and are protected by international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify, or redistribute any content from this website without explicit written permission.
5. Payments & Refunds
- All transactions are processed securely via PayPal.
- Font purchases are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, as they are digital goods.
- If you experience a technical issue with a font file, contact us within 15 days for a replacement at no charge.
- In case of unauthorized charges or payment disputes, contact us at blackfridayfonts@gmail.com before initiating a PayPal dispute.
6. Purchases
Fonts are sold under five license tiers, priced per font: Standard (€2), Creator (€11), Studio (€39), Extended / Brand (€79), and Enterprise (custom quote). Ordering 5 fonts at the Standard tier in the same purchase lowers that tier's price to €8 total (further sets of 5 follow the same rate); the other tiers have no bulk discount. What each tier authorizes is set out in full in our EULA. There are currently no subscriptions.
7. Privacy
We collect minimal personal data (email address for newsletter subscribers, payment information processed by PayPal). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Services
Our website uses third-party services including PayPal (payment processing), EmailJS (contact forms), and Cloudflare (security and performance). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and all fonts are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with all software, or error-free font files. Use is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlackFridayFont shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or fonts. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant license.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts in Mauritius. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
