End User License Agreement (EULA)

1) License Tiers

1.1 Standard — €2

• Scope: One (1) named project (e.g. a brand identity, an ad campaign, an app, a product's packaging).
• Use: Full commercial use across all media for that project (print, web, apps, social, packaging, merchandise, etc.), with no cap on the number of impressions or outputs produced within it.
• Sharing: You may share the font files only with people working directly on that project (designers, developers, printers, motion partners).
• A new brand, campaign, product, or client is a new project and requires a new Standard license.

1.2 Creator — €11

• Scope: Unlimited use by you, as an individual freelancer or sole trader, across all of your own and client projects, with no cap on the number of projects.
• Sharing: The license is personal and non-transferable. It may not be shared with other designers, freelancers, or studios, but you may install and use it on any of your own devices.
• Best suited to freelancers working with multiple clients on an ongoing basis.

1.3 Studio — €39

• Scope: Unlimited use across your whole studio or small agency — employees and the freelancers regularly working for the studio — for the studio's projects.
• Webfonts: Unrestricted webfont hosting for the studio's projects.
• Sharing: The license is tied to the studio/agency as an entity, not to one person. Redistribution or resale outside the studio is not permitted.

1.4 Extended / Brand — €79

• Scope: Unlimited use for one specific brand — all of that brand's products, campaigns, sub-brands, and variations.
• Suited to a brand wanting broad, long-term use of the typeface.

1.5 Enterprise — custom quote

• A tailored license for large organizations, multi-brand groups, high-volume needs, or other specific requirements.

All paid tiers above include unrestricted webfont hosting (WOFF/WOFF2) for the projects, clients, or brand covered by that tier, unless stated otherwise.

2) What Counts as One Project (Standard tier)

For the Standard tier, a project is a single, named initiative (e.g. a brand identity for 'ACME Juice 2025', a mobile app title, a campaign, a product packaging line). New titles, sub-brands, seasons, or rebrands are new projects and require a new Standard license per font used. Creator, Studio, and Extended licenses are not limited by project count — see their own scope above.

3) Full Catalogue Bundle (€49.99 / 365 days)

The Full Catalogue Bundle is a one-time purchase that grants access to download fonts from the BlackFridayFont catalogue for 365 days starting from the exact date and time of purchase.

• License granted: Each font downloaded through the bundle is licensed under the Standard License described in Section 1.1 above — one named project per font, full commercial use across all media. Using the same bundle font on a second project requires a new Standard License for that font, exactly as it would outside the bundle.
• After the 365 days: Work already created and published during the active period remains fully covered by its Standard License, permanently — nothing already used needs to be re-licensed. The right to download further fonts from the bundle ends when the term expires. To keep drawing new fonts from the catalogue, renew the bundle; to use one specific font on a new project afterward, purchase a Standard License (or a higher tier) for that font individually.
• Upgrading beyond Standard: A font obtained through the bundle can be upgraded at any time to a higher tier — Creator, Studio, or Extended — at that tier's price, the same as any catalogue font. This is required for unlimited personal use (Creator), studio/team use (Studio), or brand-wide use (Extended).
• Catalogue scope: The bundle includes every font marked as part of the general BlackFridayFont catalogue. BlackFridayFont reserves the right to exclude specific fonts or collections from the bundle at its discretion; excluded fonts remain available for individual purchase under their own license tiers.

4) Permitted Uses

• Use the font to create static and motion graphics within the scope of your license: logos, wordmarks, titles, UI, posters, packaging, websites, apps, social posts, ads, on-screen graphics, merchandise designs, etc.
• Install and share the font files among the people your license tier authorizes to use it (see Section 1) — for Standard, the direct project team and vendors; for Creator, yourself only; for Studio, the studio's staff and regular freelancers; for Extended, everyone working on the licensed brand.
• Host webfont files (WOFF/WOFF2 recommended) for the sites and apps covered by your license.
• Produce an unlimited number of print and digital outputs within the scope of your license.

5) Restrictions

Regardless of tier, it is strictly forbidden to:

• No redistribution: Share, upload, or publish the font files outside the people authorized by your license. Do not upload to public repos, font portals, template marketplaces, or file-sharing sites.
• No resale/sub-licensing: Resell, rent, sub-license, or transfer the font files or the license rights.
• No as-a-service use: Use the font in a tool, service, or application that lets third parties freely compose text with it (text generators, public online editors, etc.) without our prior written consent.
• No alphabet products: Create or sell alphabet kits, stencils, stamps, or similar letterform products derived from the font's glyphs without authorization.
• No reverse engineering: Modify, decompile, or convert the font with the intent to redistribute it.
• No AI training: Use the font, or specimens of it, to train artificial intelligence models.

6) Transfer & Team Use

Each tier's license is tied to what Section 1 describes for it, and is non-transferable outside that scope: Standard is tied to the named project; Creator is tied to you personally; Studio is tied to the studio/agency as an entity; Extended is tied to the named brand. Vendors: printers, developers, and production partners may use the files solely to produce assets for a project covered by your license.

7) Payment, Refunds, and Proof

• Digital goods: All sales are final once access starts.
• Proof of license: Your PayPal receipt and your license certificate (available on your download page) together serve as proof of your rights under the tier you purchased. Keep both.
• If a technical issue occurs with a file, contact us within 15 days for a replacement.

8) Ownership

All copyrights and intellectual property in the typeface designs and font software remain with the original designer(s). You are licensing the right to use the fonts within the scope of your tier, not buying ownership of the design.

9) Warranty & Liability

The font software is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

10) Copyright & Unauthorized Use

All BlackFridayFont typefaces are fully protected by international copyright law. Any commercial use of our fonts beyond the scope of a validly purchased license is considered copyright infringement.

Any unauthorized or illegal use of our fonts will result in a contractual penalty of 1000x the price of the license tier that should have been purchased for that use, plus legal recovery fees where applicable. This does not apply to custom Enterprise agreements, which are governed by their own contract.

We actively monitor misuse — if in doubt, license the tier that matches your use. It only takes a minute, and your receipt and certificate are your full legal proof of license.

11) Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts in Mauritius. If a clause is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
